Elaine Wallis is an experienced costume maker with a BA (Hons) First degree in Costume Construction. From her studies, she has crafted stunning costumes and is a skilled stitcher, maker, designer, and pattern cutter with 30 years making experience having started her education with a BTec Certificate in Clothing and sewing within both the in the fashion and wedding industry. Betty Cooper Costume & Stitches is the name for her costume business.  Betty is the name of her first gifted mannequin given to her at the start of her degree course - there were many more Betty's that followed in all shapes and sizes!

Cooper is a family name in memory of her Mother.
